Daughter to a self-taught-foodie-father whose spag bols and curries taught me the rudiments of cooking I quickly moved on to learning more complex dishes. At university I became designated cook for birthdays and visiting musicians (the most noteworthy being half of Athlete). I cook to relax and can think of nothing better than nabbing a bargain at the greengrocers and shutting myself in the kitchen for a few hours sprinkling every surface liberally with coriander...I am a messy cook. Contrary to popular belief I am not a veggie, but I could go for days not eating an meat without realising. Tea is my preferred form of hydration and since living in Germany I have crossed over to the dubious area of herbal tea drinking. Fruit tea is still an abomination however.
